Imperial Roman Ruckus MMXXI
03 - The Scenario

https://ancientbattles.com/Imperial_Roman_Ruckus_MMXXI/000_Imperial_Roman_Ruckus_MMXXI.html

There were four players two on each faction side. Rick and Rich were on the pseudo Vespasian/Flavian side. Jeff and Al were
the pseudo Vitellians. The scenario is fictitious but based on the numerous battles that ravaged the area around Cremona in AD 69.
Victory would go to the faction that secured the three victory points- town, temple, and camp, plus however many victory point units eliminated.
Since this is civil war only legions, auxiliary pedites, and auxiliary equites, artillery, and the generals counted for points.
The barbarian symmachiarii (allies) did not count for points- or seizing the terrain locations.

The game itself featured formed units with ranks along with open order and skirmishers. It is played much like Lion Rampant and uses
a similar "to hit" and "armor values" and "unit activation" styles. The major battle units such as legions use regular close
order formations as in Warhammer Ancient Battles with all the bells and whistles that ranks and testudo can offer.

Gorgon Studios offers this really well done Centurion miniature in 28mm.
Nice pose, gear, cloak, and cudgel.
