Illyrian Peltasts
These are "true" 25mm RAFM Illyrian Peltasts. RAFM's are smallish by today's
standards but some of their Hellenistic range figures are absolutely marvelous. The
interchangeable heads is one real strength. The big guy shouting is an Old Glory 28mm
Officer, just to show the size difference.
Peltasts like these are extremely useful troops, dont skimp...I always give them a leader, musician, and standard bearer, and thrusting spears. I can't describe how often a unit of 12 Peltasts have been the key unit in a WAB victory. The fact that they skirmish is helpful too when they need to be flexible. I can never have enough Peltasts!
