Macedonian Challenge Historicon 2001

Chaeronea 338  B.C. the decisive battle

The following is the sample OOB for this battle set at (4500  points) for play on a 9' x 4' table.

Note the changes to the Athenians special rules for "Green troops"

The Greeks may consolidate their 24 figure phalanx's into 32 figure units if desired. Consolidated points for leaders and musicians can be turned into more hoplites in those combined formations.

AoA points are (mostly) in effect, however the new "Phalanx" rules will be used from the upcoming Alex supplement.
Characters are from the supplement Hellenistic Greeks, and Early Macedonians.

Both sides have been just split down the middle for the most part...obviously we seem to have enough suitable miniatures .. a few figures will be needed and if under progress they will be marked *, also if your wish to switch and swap units or combine some into 32 figure units just let me know!

Philip suffered numerous wounds during his campaigns and battles, his wound profile allows an extra wound to show his resiliency, however his attacks are reduced to balance out his disabilities suffered over the years of hard campaigning!
